VoIP Thailand is constantly expanding the FRITZ!Product line and some new products will be available in the on the Thai market soon.

First:
The new FRITZ!Repeater 300E that which allows you to connect to connect with a LAN network cable and plug it to your Desktop PC or other Device without build-in Wi-Fi.

Second:
Take a look at the new FRITZ!Box 3270. This Box will be very interesting on the Thai market as it comes at an entry level price and allows you to connect your Smartphone via Wi-Fi to make cheap high-quality calls via Internet and land line.

Last but not least:
The new FRITZ!Fon M2. If you love Apple you will love the M2. It comes in a white casing and allows you to make VoIP calls in HD in combination with FRITZ!Box 7270 & 7390.

AVM just released a firmware update for Fritz!Box 7390. All features implemented in the last Firmware update for Fritz!Box 7270 are available for the 7390 now. You can download the update if you go to System - Firmware update - Search for new firmware.

WLAN guest access: easy and secure surfing for visitors

The new WLAN guest access gives visitors wireless access to the Internet. Guest access is completely separate from the WLAN of your home network. This means your visitors can surf the Internet and you don't have to disclose the WLAN network key for your home network. Visitors with WLAN-capable smartphones also have Internet access this way.

New user interface for a better overview

A new user interface displays information about the Internet, home network and telephony and allows individual changes to be made intuitively and quickly. All of the information can be modified simply by clicking. As always, users start the FRITZ!Box user interface by entering "fritz.box" in their Internet browser.

More ease-of-use in the home network – new features for FRITZ!NAS

As a media server, the FRITZ!Box makes photos, music, films and other shared files available in your home network. These files can now be accessed with a browser at the address "fritz.nas". They can be viewed and opened in the browser. You can easily exchange files between your computer, internal storage, USB memory devices or online storage using your mouse.

FRITZ!Box for Internet access with IPv6

The upgrade provides the FRITZ!Box with complete support for IPv6, the future version of the Internet protocol, as one of the very first Internet access devices in the world. This means that FRITZ!Box users are well-prepared for the upcoming switch to IPv6.

Many other functions – also for security and energy savings

The upgrade includes a number of other new functions as well. The new WLAN spectrum analysis, for example, optimizes channel selection of the FRITZ!Box and avoids neighboring WLAN networks and now even baby phones and video bridges. The energy-saving functions of the FRITZ!Box also offer new features. For instance, the times for work days and weekends can now be individually selected.

Certainly one of the most important things you are looking for it the usability when you make a purchase. Too many functions paired with a poor interface often make a difference between a good and a bad product or drive people away from a website.  Once it comes to usability Fritz Products are always in the forefront to allow intuitive configuration. This time I want to show you the upcoming Fritz Dashboard. For now the Dashboard is only available with a German language Interface.  With the upcoming firmware update for the Fritz!Box International line the updated Fritz Interface will be available in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.

If you want to access your Fritz!Box Dashboard you don’t need to remember any cryptic IP Address. Just type fritz.box into the browser and the Fritz Dashboard will open up. To make it even easier AVM offers a great little plugin for Firefox and Internet Explorer. After installation the plugin will show up at the far right of your browser.  Just click on the Fritz Logo to open the Dashboard. Download the plugin here.
