Ever got stuck with a bad WLAN reception in your house or office building? AVM came up with a solution to this problem. The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater N/G  is a real marvel. Just plug the device into any power outlet, press the touch screen display and you instantly increase the range of you Wifi Network. To access more settings you can either navigate through the touch screen display or even easier – just type fritz.reapeater into your bowser line.

If you want to access your Fritz!Box Dashboard you don’t need to remember any cryptic IP Address. Just type fritz.box into the browser and the Fritz Dashboard will open up. To make it even easier AVM offers a great little plugin for Firefox and Internet Explorer. After installation the plugin will show up at the far right of your browser.  Just click on the Fritz Logo to open the Dashboard. Download the plugin here.

AVM just released an English language firmware for Fritz!Fon MT-D & MT-F. To update the phone you need to change the menu language at your Fritz!Box to German first. Then press the Menu bottom on the Phone than go to Einstellungen and Firmware update. The phone will update to version 01.02.27.  Change the language of Fritz!Box back to English. Take your Fritz!Fon and choose Menu, Einstellungen, Firmware update and  you can update to version 01.02.28. The phone will restart and you have an English language menu.
