We are pleased to announce that we can offer Thai DID (Direct Inward Dial) Numbers.

More than one number per phone

Most businesses have several incoming telephone numbers used for specific purposes. For example customer service, sales, etc. Some have an individual telephone number for each user in their system. Fritz!Fons be assigned to more than one incoming number( in fact up to 20!) Besides phones can share a number so they ring at the same time on incoming calls. DID Numbers can also be assigned to certain phones only (in our case the boss is German ;-) so only his phone rings when there is an incoming call on the German DID number. In a home setting on the other hand, each telephone number comes in on a different pair of wires typically. This is not practical in a business environment that has many telephone numbers.

Greater flexibility

If you are using an IP PBX like Fritz!Box, you can buy DID numbers from a service provider that will then come to your IP PBX as a real phone line. One of the big advantages is that virtual DID numbers allow a much greater flexibility than traditional phone numbers. Let’s say one of your staff is moving to a new location in another building or city. So all you need to do is to deregister the number is your office PBX System and register it at the other PBX system again.

More comfort

With Fritz!Box the times of dialling extensions and listen to endless music are over as you can reach any person directly at their assigned number. Moreover you can even reach the person even if they left the office as the call can easily be forwarded to their mobile.

A number for life

Last but not least if you move to a new office you don’t need to change phone numbers anymore  – they will just move along with your PBX.
